ROSELLE PARK — On Monday, Feb. 17 , at 9:59 p.m., Roselle Park Ptl. Brian Swick conducted a motor vehicle stop with a 1993 Honda on the 500 block of W. Westfield Avenue in Roselle Park after discovering the rear license plate displayed on the vehicle was confirmed stolen out of the city of Paterson and was registered to a 1994 Honda.
Further investigation revealed that the Honda was also confirmed to be stolen out of the city of Clifton. The driver, Victor Beacham, 29, of Newark was placed under arrest and charged with two counts of receiving stolen property with bail set at $30,000.
The passenger, Joshua Dixon, 21, from Paterson was arrested and charged with unlawful taking of means of conveyance, bail set at $15,000.
Both were transported and housed at the Union County Jail pending a court appearance.
