The funeral for James Lenney, the patriarch of Cranford’s music community for 60 years, will be on Friday August 9, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Episcopal Church, 119 Forest Avenue, Cranford, NJ.
Jim inspired thousands of students through music as music teacher, Director of Choral Activities at Cranford High School, and Supervisor of Music for the entire district from 1952 to 1988 and as Choirmaster and Organist at Trinity Episcopal Church from 1983 to 2013.
Everyone is invited to celebrate his life and contributions to Cranford’s music.
Memorial gifts to honor his service and memory may be made to the James Lenney Choral Excellence Scholarship Fund, Cranford High School.
