Dorothy Regenye, 88, of Union passed away at Overlook Hospital on February 18, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel, 1212 Kelly St. in Union on Monday, February 23rd, at 10:15am. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park. Born in Irvington, Dorothy had lived in Union for 60 years. She had worked for many years as a Comptometer Operator at Gould & Eberhardt in Irvington. Dorothy was a faithful parishioner at St. Michael’s
Dorothy was the beloved wife of 57 years to the late Albert Regenye. She was the loving mother of Dr. Glenn Regenye and his wife Deborah and Diane Poszyler and husband, the late Roland. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Rockey, Amanda, Ashleigh and Rickey Poszyler and Kyle Regenye, her siblings, Louise Scarlato and husband Sam, Marie Michael and husband, the late Robert, Robert Castleton and wife Lois, and Edward Castleon as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
