SCOTCH PLAINS — Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA located at 1340 Martine Ave. in Scotch Plains invites the community to join them on Sunday, Oct. 20 from 1 to 4 p.m. for a family fun-filled afternoon. All ages are welcome to attend this free event.
As part of the Open House, visitors will be able to see the Y’s two pools and Wellness Center. Join the Y the day of the Open House and they will waive the joiner’s fee. Free activities will be open to the public and include: Games in the Pool, Gymnastic Obstacle Course, Face Painting, Cooking Demos, Youth and Fitness Classes, Swim Level Placement Evaluation and Synchronized Swim Demo, Class Demos and Demonstrations and information on Y Programs for children and adults.
