Rhonda Denet and the Silver Fox Songs Trio return to the Springfield Free Public Library to perform ‘Mostly Motown’

SPRINGFIELD — Rhonda Denet and the Silver Fox Songs Trio will return to the Springfield Free Public Library to perform “Mostly Motown” on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 2 p.m. “Mostly Motown” is a review of the classic rhythm and blues and soul of the 1960s and 1970s. You’ll hear songs made famous by artists such as Aretha Franklin, Martha and the Vandellas, Diana Ross and the Supremes and Smoky Robinson, to name a few.

 

Denet earned a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from New York University and a master’s degree in arts administration from Florida State University. Her professional career has allowed her to share a gift of music throughout the region and across the country with appearances at concert halls, theaters, clubs, resorts, museums and premier wedding venues, such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Lincoln Center Theater, New York Friar’s Club, Waldorf Astoria, B.B. Kings Bar & Grill and Ashford & Simpson’s Sugar Bar.
