Saint Barnabas to present Hip and Knee Pain seminar at library

UNION — The Joint Institute at Saint Barnabas Medical Center will present a free Joint Replacement Seminar on Oct. 23, at 6:30 p.m. at Union Public Library, 1980 Morris Ave., Union.

The discussion will include the myriad of treatment options available to address hip and knee pain up to and including joint replacement therapy. Primary candidates for surgery are individuals with chronic joint pain whose daily activities are limited or eliminated due to pain.

This free program, open to the public, will include a presentation by Michael H. Rieber, MD, a recognized expert from The Joint Institute at Saint Barnabas Medical Center. Dr. Rieber will discuss complex reconstructive hip and knee surgery, including the anterior approach for hip replacement.
