LINDEN, NJ — The Linden High School senior class participated in the Linden Intoxicated Driving Prevention Program on April 24. This program culminated with a drunk driving accident simulation coordinated by the Linden Police Department, and kicks off several weeks of activities focused on preventing underage drinking and drunken driving. Linden Fire department and Office of Emergency Management ‘responded’ to the simulated accident.
Prevention Links will work with the law and government classes to enhance the story. The work will result in the development of a court case which will be presented to a senior assembly on June 2 and ties the program together. Once all activities are complete, a professionally edited video will be created so that future classes may receive the same education for years to come.
