Local author to discuss new novel at Cranford library on Dec. 5

CRANFORD — Local author Eric Nierstedt will discuss his recently published novel, “The Lightrider Journals” on Thursday, Dec. 5, at 7:30 p.m. in the Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut Avenue.

In “The Lightrider Journals,” a man responsible for deeds of great horror and beauty tells his story, an epic fantasy that takes a look at the nature of good and evil.

Nierstedt has a B.A. in English from Kean University. In 2011, his work was selected for the Unlimited Potential Theatre Production’s New Jersey Wordsmith Competition. He writes for the online magazine Suite101, the Westfield Leader, and his blog, ThePopCultureMark.

Copies of “The Lightrider Journals” will be available for purchase and for signing. Admission is free and all are welcome. The program is sponsored by Cranford Public Library.
