Barbara Ann Byron peacefully entered into eternal rest on December 28, 2014 in Sun City Center, Florida surrounded by her four children.
She was compassionate, patient, loving, understanding and brought comfort to all of those who were fortunate to have known her.
Visitation took place at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave, Union, on Friday January 2, 2015. The funeral service took place at the funeral home on Saturday, January 3, 2015. Barbara was born in Orange, NJ. Barbara attended St. Michaels School of Nursing where she received her R.N. She continued her education and received her Master’s Degree of Nursing and School Nurse Practitioner’s License.
After working for The Board of Education in Union, as the school nurse at the Livingston School, Barbara spent retirement in Florida where she volunteered on EMT squad, traveling all over the world; attended concerts, book clubs, and enjoyed the company of a large group of friends and the members from the Unity South Shore Church. Barbara also spent time in NJ with family and friends and church members from Unity Church in Asbury, NJ.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard T. Byron. She is survived by her four children and their spouses: Gary Byron and his wife Patricia of Annandale, NJ. Cynthia Byron Manno and her husband Alfred of Elverson, PA. ; James Byron and his wife Laura of Milford, NJ; and Linda Byron Manla of Totowa, NJ. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Andrew, Melissa, Lisa, Nicholas, Vincent, Alexa, Dawn and Casey; and four great-grandchildren: Alex, Aeryn, Josslyn and Emmilia.
