Woodruff House/Eaton Store Museum in Hillside to participate in ‘4 Centuries’

HILLSIDE — The Woodruff House/Eaton Store Museum located at 111 Conant Street, Hillside, will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 19 and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20.

Operated by the Hillside Historical Society, the museum consists of a 1735 farmhouse, a 1900 general store, a barn, and also features an exhibit honoring Phil Rizzuto and other Hillside Sports heroes.

A vintage automobile will also be on display. Art work and articles of historic nature submitted by Hillside 4th and 5th graders will also be on exhibit and judged on Sunday. A mini apple fest will be held and apples and apple products will be on sale to benefit the Woodruff House.
