SCOTCH PLAINS — Most people need information and guidance on how to discuss end of life choices with their families and loved ones. The community is invited to the next adult forum on Sunday, April 7, at 11:30 a.m., at Willow Grove Presbyterian Church on the topic “Five Wishes: A Plan for the Rest of Your Life.” Decisions you make today can affect the care you and the people you love receive tomorrow.
Learn how to make the right choices for you and how to convey these choices to family and friends. This entertaining forum will use humor to guide you through the often confusing thicket of legal and emotional issues that can get in the way of appropriate choices. Topics to be covered include strategies for taking to family members, living wills, and the range of nursing and support offered by hospice. The free forum will be led by staff from the Center for Hope Hospice and Palliative Care in Scotch Plains.
