GARWOOD — The Garwood Knights of Columbus are collecting canned and dry food goods, turkeys and hams for their holiday food drives. Food baskets will be distributed to needy families in Garwood and the surrounding areas during November and December.
Donations can be dropped off after 4 p.m. weekdays at their Council Hall, 37 South Ave., Garwood which is opposite Pathmark. On weekends, contributors are asked to call first. Parking is located behind the hall off Willow Avenue and visitors should use the side door entrance.
Monetary donations, made payable to the Garwood K of C Food Drive, would also be appreciated. For information call the Knights at 908-789-9809 , after 4 p.m.
