SUMMIT – Zurich North America recently announced the appointment of Summit resident Glen Curley as Head of Healthcare Professional Liability, effective immediately. Curley will be responsible for the underwriting and production of Zurich’s general liability and professional liability healthcare business in North America.
Curley will be based in New York and report to Mike Karmilowicz, Head of Management Solutions – Zurich Specialty Products for Zurich North America.

Curley has extensive experience in insuring risks for medical malpractice, professional liability and other specialty-related product line segments. Prior to accepting this position, he was the Regional Vice President and Underwriting Manager of Healthcare Professional Liability for the East Region. He also spent more than a decade in Zurich’s Reinsurance Specialty Division.
Curley earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Western New England University. He holds the professional designations of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (C.P.C.U.) and Associate in Reinsurance (ARe).
