CRANFORD — The Cranford Recreation and Parks Department announced a new summer tennis clinic for boys and girls ages 13 to 18. The clinic will take place at Hillside Avenue Tennis Courts on Thursdays, from 6 to 8 p.m. starting Thursday, July 10, and ending Thursday, July 31.
The clinic is designed for girls and boys interested in taking their game to the next level. Whether it’s your first time picking up a racket or you’re a returning high school player, the lessons will be tailored to fit your needs.
Instruction will be given by Lisa Williams, Cranford High School’s boys and girls tennis head coach. Registered players should come with their own tennis racquets, wear sneakers and bring plenty of water.
Register by Thursday, July 3, at Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut Ave. The clinic is open to Cranford residents only. For more information and price, call the Recreation Department at 908-709-7283.
