UNION — The Union Club of The Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County, in collaboration with the Chandler Learning Center will host an S.A.T. prep course on the Thursday and Friday dates leading up to the Nov. 2 S.A.T. test. The classes will be taught by instructors from The Chandler Learning Center.
Chandler Learning Center strives to bridge the gap between the student and the S.A.T. by deconstructing each component and offering insight into the design of the test, while concurrently capturing the students’ attention.
The Thursday courses will be held on Oct. 10, 17, 24 and 31 at 8:15 p.m. and the Friday course on Nov. 1 will be held at 6:45 p.m. Classes will last approximately one hour and a half. All classes will be held at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County, Union Club Teen Center at 1050 Jeanette Ave., Union and is open to all juniors, and seniors scheduled for the Nov. 2 test or later tests.
The cost is $25 per class, which may be paid at the start of each class, or as an incentive they are offering a $100 reduced rate when paying for all 5 classes up front. The Learning Center will provide all needed materials.
