Roselle Catholic – first-time Non-Public, B state champions – is the top seed for the Tournament of Champions; Title game is March 19 in Trenton

Lions first play in Friday's semifinals at Monmouth University

The Roselle Catholic boys’ basketball team – which Saturday night captured its first state championship by winning the Non-Public, B title – is the top seed for the Tournament of Champions.

There will be two first round games Wednesday night at Pine Belt Arena in Toms River and then two semifinal games Friday night at Monmouth University.

The championship game will be March 19 at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton.

For the first time there will be no games at Rutgers or in East Rutherford.

Roselle Catholic enters with a 23-5 record and a six-game winning streak.
