The students were recently awarded the 2012-13 Navin Bros. Food Service Scholarship at Union Catholic High School in Scotch Plains. Navin Bros., Inc. oversees all food service operations at Union Catholic High School as well as at schools throughout the New York tri-state area. The scholarship was established in memory of Mary Ellen Swinden, a Navin Bros. employee who worked at Union Catholic High School and passed away in the fall of 2008. The scholarship recipients were selected based on their academic standing as well as their involvement in extra-curricular activities.
