RAHWAY — A joint venture of three of New Jersey’s leading developers of residential communities — AST Development, Sterling Properties and Heartstone Development — recently announced that construction has begun on Metro Rahway, a community of 116 upscale rental residences located directly across from Rahway’s train station.
The joint-venture partnership will transform a former industrial site into a state-of-the-art, transit-oriented development designed to cater to the modern renter’s desire for a convenient and comfortable lifestyle.
Situated on 1.6 acres along Campbell Street between Elm Avenue and West Cherry Street, Metro Rahway will feature a mix of one- and two-bedroom residences in a four-story building with ground-floor access to a private parking garage.
The train station, which serves NJ Transit’s North Jersey Coast and Northeast Corridor lines, will provide residents with an effortless 40-minute commute to New York City.
