Friday will be a special day for the Johnson High School baseball program.
The 1974 team, which captured a sectional title, will be honored.
As many as 11 members of the 1974 squad, along with head coach Louis Peragallo, will be attending.
A pre-game ceremony will take place prior to Johnson’s scheduled 4 p.m. Union County Conference-Mountain Division home game vs. Roselle Park.
All ALJ alumni as well as any former players under Coach Peragallo are welcome to attend.
The team will also be making a special announcement during the ceremony regarding the formation of the Jeff Felter Memorial Scholarship in honor of their former teammate and friend.

Johnson will take a 5-11 overall record into Tuesday’s scheduled Mountain Division game at Oratory Prep. Johnson won at Oratory Prep 7-5 on April 4.
The Crusaders are scheduled to host Dayton Thursday at 4 p.m. in another Mountain Division contest. The Crusaders lost at Dayton 3-2 on April 9.
When Johnson first played Roselle Park, the Crusaders were defeated 10-3 at Roselle Park on April 10.
Johnson began the week with a record of 1-7 in the Mountain Division. Johnson’s lone league win as of Monday was its victory at Oratory Prep.
