* Linden moved up to North 2, Group 5 for the first time.
* Rahway moved back to Central Jersey, Group 2.

Rahway is now situated in Central Jersey, Group 2 for the eighth
season since NJSIAA reclassification began in 2003.
Rahway reached the CJ, G2 semifinals for four straight seasons
from 2004-2007 and the CJ, G2 quarterfinals in 2011. The Indians
did not make the playoffs while a member of the section in 2003
and in 2009. In 2003 Rahway, coached by Kevin Conroy, went 2-8.
Rahway qualified for the playoffs as a member of North 2, Group 3
in 2008 – reaching the championship game for the first time since
1999 – and in 2010, reaching the semifinals, and 2012, reaching
the quarterfinals.
The Indians had a string of eight straight winning seasons snapped
last year when they finished 5-5.
Under head coach Gary Mobley, a 1986 Union High School graduate,
Rahway is 66-31 (.680) since 2004, including a playoff record of 7-8.
Mobley has led Rahway to the playoffs eight of his first nine seasons at
the helm and to at least one playoff win six times.
The only year Rahway did not make the playoffs under Mobley was in 2009
when the Indians won their final six games to finish 7-3.
