Betty Pistol, of Clark, NJ, died on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains, NJ.
Betty was a homemaker and a clerical worker. She was employed at Franklin Templeton Investments in Short Hills, NJ. Previously, she served in the same capacity at Heine Securities in Short Hills, and United Counties Trust Co. in Roselle, NJ and Cranford, NJ retiring 20 years ago.
She was a member of the Suburban Chapter of Deborah of Springfield, NJ, the Westfield Chapter of Hadassah, and the Cranford Wednesday Senior Club.
Born in Lakewood, NJ, she grew up in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Hillside, NJ and Union, NJ settling in Cranford, NJ for nearly 50 years before moving to Clark four years ago.
Predeceased by her husband, Sidney Pistol, and her son, Stuart Pistol, she is survived by her son, Jeffrey Pistol, her sister, Shirley Kier, several nieces, nephews and grand-nieces.
Funeral services will held at the Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union, NJ on Sunday, March 4, 2018. Interment followed at King Solomon Cemetery, Clifton.
