Andy Martin – Senior Football – Wide Receiver

As a pass catcher, is there a particular professional player you look to model yourself after?
I model myself after A.J. Green.

Now that your high school career is ending, what’s your favorite memory?
My favorite memory was my first win as a senior.

What are your favorite non-football activities and how will occupy your time after the season?
Playing basketball and training.

What are your post-high school plans?
To be able to get a scholarship and play football.

Do you have a subject or subjects in school you enjoy most? Least?
Most: gym.  Least: algebra

If you could change something about school, what would it be?
I would change the school hours and make them shorter.

As a football player, have you discussed with your family, friends, teammates the reports about concussions? How much does it concern you?
It concerns me a lot because it’s bigger than the game, and we should learn more about it, and how to prevent it.

What has football taught you off the field?
Football taught me that without the grades you can’t get anywhere.
