FANWOOD-SCOTCH PLAINS — The Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA located at 1340 Martine Ave., Scotch Plains, is ready to help the community stay fit and active this spring by offering healthy programs and special events for members. The following are just some of the upcoming programs and events offered:
- Overlook Hospital Health Screenings are offered from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the Overlook Van in the Y Parking Lot. To register, call 800-247-9580.
- “A Fancy Footwork – Stimulating Circulation and Flow” program is offered at the Y Thursday, March 14, at 7:30 p.m. Learn to pamper your feet to stimulate circulation and flexibility, and to build strength in your feet and ankles helping to improve your sense of balance as well. Bring your own lotion. Interested participants can register at the member service desk.
