The Linden boys’ basketball team captured the Huskies Tournament at Matawan by defeating Academy Charter 81-12 Dec. 26, Manalapan 69-49 Dec. 27 and Columbia 57-47 Dec. 29.
Senior guard Cairo Brown earned All-Tournament honors, while junior center Quadri Moore was named MVP.
The Tigers begin January with a 7-0 record that includes comeback wins over Elizabeth, Don Bosco Prep, Union and Columbia.
