  1. Dead on—-makes one wonder if all lesniaks good deeds are just a beard for his nefarious actions behind closed doors, that every once in a while the corrupted system becomes exposed yet he is adamant in continuing the system he secretly put in place and controls. You are right that all appointments have to go thru him. Back over 10 years ago, in a star ledger interview, lesniak proudly proclaimed he is the political boss of this area and he controls everything. We now fully experience his political boss claim as you point out with the farahi resume lies, his nephew devanney who was instilled as union county manager with minimal experience and suddenly stepped down weeks before a report on waste and abuse and near criminality was released about Devanneys pet program musicfest. lesniaks support of his “office mate” assemblyman cryan who even with cryans lying to prosecutors and 150 sexually explicit emails from a public computer was bumped up to be nominated union county sheriff, the freeholder pawns abusing half billion dollars annually of union county taxpayers’ money going to contracts that are donors to him and his crony’s. And for nothing much in return. This is the system the taxpayers are forced to support. And Lesniak for all his true uselessness, faux avocation of public programs, non-integrity and abuse becomes a king of this area where in any other state he would just be a low-life working the bar scene with his accordion for tips. He knows that more and more people, of many colors, creeds and political leanings are becoming aware of his corrupted system. Better tune up your accordion Ray.
