Football teams square off in sectional and RIT finals

The Linden High School football team stands together in celebration after the Tigers defeated Bergenfield High School, 29-22, to capture the first North, Group 4 regional invitational tournament on Saturday, Nov. 5, in Bergen County. The players are crossing their arms in an X to honor teammate Xavier McClain, who died from a traumatic brain injury on Wednesday, Sept. 21.
