Coldwell Banker helps Union student during Care Days

UNION — The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Union participated in Taste of Union to benefit local high school student Nicole Martin during Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Days in April. Sales associates affiliated with all of the real estate company’s 55 offices gave back through projects such as food drives, park clean-ups and fundraisers to assist with the medical bills of community members in need.

The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Union raised more than $2,500 for Taste of Union, a food-tasting event featuring menu selections from 25 area restaurants. Funds were raised through ticket sales, donations, sponsorships, raffles and a 50/50.

This year’s event benefited Nicole Martin, a Union High School senior who was born with cerebral palsy. The funds will help assist the family with the expense of a lift for the family’s minivan and alleviate the stress of transporting Martin to and from school.

A group of volunteers from the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Union, including Glen Volturo, Frank Kretchmer, Rosa Stimmler and Maria Goncalves, and led by Cares Ambassador Terry Rebimbas, helped throughout the event.
