Kean University launches visionary new Center for Africana Studies

Kean University, the state’s urban research university, on Thursday, Feb. 1, announced the creation of a new Center for Africana Studies on the first day of Black History Month, to support the implementation of New Jersey's Amistad curriculum in K-12 schools. Pictured is Kean Hall/Kean University.
