  1. It’s not only the employees of the different township departments who are walking on eggs. The people of the town are also afraid to speak their minds. Code enforcement officers she hired suddenly sending out summons to people for things that have never been enforced before while the same violations aren’t being enforced on those backing her. When the town’s recyclables schedule was wrong last September she had public works out picking them up on the streets her backers who complained to her lived on and the street she lived on, not the rest of the town. She denies it ever happened but the piles of bottles, cans and plastics that appeared at the municipal garage didn’t walk there by themselves. She’s a vindictive person. She gets her advise from the people running Newark, Irvington and Essex County. She hires the people they tell her to, hence the attempt to make Joseph Santiago the business administrator last year with him presenting her plans to hire part time people as directors of the township departments INCLUDING the police department. Joe Santiago didn’t come up with that plan in the few weeks he was a temporary hire. Those part time “Directors” wouldn’t have needed the councils’ approval. It took a long time to repair the level of moral in the police department after years of abuses. In one day she swept the progress into the sewers of town hall!

  2. Hillside City Government is doing the citizens of Hillside Township a DISSERVICE by “Walking on Eggshells” as reported by the anonymous employee! You ALL were voted in office to do a SERVICE for the citizens of Hillside NOT a DISSERVICE! Shameful!

  3. What a disgrace!!!!!! Lou Panarese is a family friend. And an outstanding chief. This mayor needs to be investigated.
