  1. This article failed to identify me, the anonymous source and Dr. Nicole Stewart as adjunct professors. Adjunct faculty make up over 70% of the faculty and teach about 50% of the course sections, however we are basically invisible as far as the administration is concerned.

  2. It’s hard to believe Mr. Richel is proud of someone who incites this much criticism on the part of the faculty. Furthermore, it does not speak well to the administration and this board that they refused to meet with the writer of the report from the AAUP.

  3. This is very disturbing to read. There is a lot of talk in Union County about UCC and none of it is good. It is unfortunate Chairman Richel so blindly supports an administration that is so disrespectful to their esteemed faculty. Increase staff, cut faculty. Put new adjunct faculty who have no experience.
UCC is not what it used to be. UCC had a reputation of being a quality college, respected by universities. Now churning out graduates that can not even write and can pass simply because they showed up for a while and complained to the Asst. Deans who have (by the way) NO academic experience at all. Dr. Nacco is wrong, faculty are pressured to pass. Heard there was a list of professors who fail too many. Grades have been changed. Mr. Richel, if so many are unhappy and moral is so low, how can you rectify this blind support? Maybe the name of the commons should be changed, you do not support the education of this college.

  4. Graduation went because of cold calling to get students to change majors to liberal studies so they could get a degree and the college another gratudation to tabulate..Plus they call old students to charge back credits..The rate still sucks if you take that out..Middle states would agree..

  5. Is it college policy to hire white collar criminals to run testing …Stealing grant money is a federal crime

  6. The numbers I am hearing have grad rate near lows when you take out the phony numbers..What are kids going to do when they get to a 4 year school with Liberal Studies instead of their intended degree?/students number 1??/Dont think so.. Cold calling and changing majors do not equal graduates… Middle States agrees…

  7. Obviously integrity has a price tag. Unlike the new regime, mine is not for sale.
