  1. There are very important reasons for the federal Manual of UNIFORM Traffic Control Devices that all states are required to follow – and UNIFORM is the most important word. It is categorically wrong to have places that use different styles of traffic control devices that will not be recognized by some drivers, because that lack of recognition may lead to crashes, injuries and deaths.

The Federal Highway Administration should force those communities to return to yellow lines.

  2. The mistake being made in commenting on police affairs is to think that the police are the same as ordinary citizens. They are not: they are first class citizens in the American totalitarian dictatorship. Now, you might stupidly protest at this point, but that’s what it is. Of course, it’s not as murderous a totalitarian dictatorship as the USSR was, but the police and citizenry have the same servile/overseer relationship, and there is no more rule of law. The police behave as though they are royalty, and the courts of lies treat them as such. In any “bench trial” the judge is not a neutral arbiter, (though he lyingly claims to be): he’s on the side of the county, the same as the cop and prosecutor. All of the prior conspire to steal your money, unless you’re politically-connected to the tax-eaters.

  3. These communities will regret their decision when a motorist crashes/dies due to confusion from the blue lined pavement. They will really feel the burden when the crashed motorist/survivor’s family sues the city for negligence in defying the federal MUTCD (Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices).
