Walker, Pierre, Taylor, Folinusz, Stapleton and Carmona are Union County players in June 24 North-South All-Star Football Game at Kean

The 35th annual North-South All-Star Football game will kick off June 24 at 7 p.m. at Kean University’s Alumni Stadium in Union.

Here is the list of players from Union County who will be playing for the North squad:

 

P.J. Walker, QB, Elizabeth

Ruban Pierre, OG, Rahway

Derrick Taylor, LB, Roselle

Chris Folinusz, DE, Cranford

Darius Stapleton, DT, Union

Juan Carmona, LB, Roselle Park

Walker guided Elizabeth to the North 2, Group 4 crown and Carmona led Roselle Park to the North 2, Group 1 championship game. Folinusz was a key defensive player on Cranford’s 2011 North 2, Group 3 championship team.

Media Day for the event is April 7 at Piscataway High School.
