On a heavy night of state basketball involving teams from Union County, Rahway, Dayton and Plainfield advanced on the boys’ side Tuesday, while the Dayton, Governor Livingston, New Providence and Cranford girls’ advanced.
All of the above winners will play again Thursday in their respective sections.
Union County teams that were ousted Tuesday included the GL, Summit, Cranford and New Providence boys’ and the Summit, Rahway, Brearley, Kent Place and Union Catholic girls’.
