Roselle Catholic’s Ryan Quinn and Danielle Franklin were honored at halftime of their respective team’s game at the Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children (SFIC) basketball festival presented by Investors Bank at Kean University the first weekend of January.

Each participating school in the SFIC festival, which celebrated its 10th Anniversary, nominated a basketball player who’s demonstrated academic excellence in the classroom.

Franklin, the Lions’ sixth man, and Quinn, who’s sideline with an injured back, are both seniors.

To celebrate its 10th Anniversary, the SFIC named its All-Time Girls Top players and included Roselle Catholic 2011 graduate Melissa Tobie on the first team.

The all-time SFIC Girls Coach Honor Roll included Roselle Catholic’s Joe Skrec.
