The championship game of the 61st annual baseball Union County Tournament was postponed Saturday because of rain and pushed back to Sunday, May 11 at Kean University at 1 p.m.
Top-seeded Governor Livingston (17-3) will face third-seeded Westfield (13-3).
GL and Westfield split Union County Conference-Watchung Division games.
Westfield, which has won the most UCT crowns with 13, is on a 10-game winning streak. The only team from Union County that it has lost to so far this year was GL.
GL is still seeking to win the UCT for the first time. The Highlanders are 0-3 in the final, with losses to Westfield in 1996 and to Cranford in 2007 and 2011.
The 39th annual softball UCT championship game was contested at Linden Saturday, with top-seeded and defending champion Westfield downing third-seeded GL 5-2.
Westfield has now won back-to-back titles and nine overall.
GL, which has won the championship five times, including in 1997, 1999, 2001, 2010 and 2011, has reached the title game the past five seasons.
