Field hockey UCT championship game moved to Nov. 4 at Kean because of Hurricane Sandy

JV final will now take place Nov. 1 at Johnson's Nolan Field

The field hockey Union County Tournament championship game scheduled for Sunday at 5 p.m. at Kean University’s Alumni Stadium in Union has been postponed due to Hurricane Sandy.

The game between third-seeded Summit and top-seeded and two-time defending champion Oak Knoll has been moved to Nov. 4 at 3 p.m. at Kean.

The junior varsity final between second-seeded Oak Knoll and top-seeded Westfield has also been moved to Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. at Johnson High School’s Nolan Field in Clark.

Those changes were officially made Friday by Union County Interscholastic Athletic Conference (UCIAC) Director Tom Lewis.
