Union Catholic baseball – sparked by Donohue, McReynolds and Tomalavage – advances in UCT for first time in 3 years; Vikings top visiting Dayton to move to quarterfinals

PHOTO BY JR PARACHINI - Dayton junior left hander Zach Gelo turned in a solid effort against host Union Catholic in first round UCT play. In five innings complete Gelo allowed four runs (only two earned) on four hits, while striking out eight, walking three and hitting one batter. He threw 95 pitches and retired the Vikings in order in the third and fourth innings.
