Warren R Brown, a resident of Upper Makefield Township, PA for 42 years, died suddenly Saturday Dec. 3rd. He was the beloved husband of Constance L Brown. Warren is also survived by his three children; Rob and his wife Debra of Manchester, NH, Sue Connelly of St Leonard, MD and Chris and his wife Kunghee of Seoul, South Korea; along with grandchildren Craig, Michael, Shinae and Shinhee. He was predeceased by his grandson Sean.
Warren was born and raised in Linden, NJ. Upon graduating H.S., he attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, where he graduated with a B.A. degree in Economics. He then served 3 years in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Texas, where he trained as a flight navigator. He was sent to Okinawa and spent 1 1/2 years flying C 130’s transporting troops and supplies throughout the Far East. Warren came back to New Jersey in Oct, 1970 and began working for a Division of Johnson & Johnson called Cel-Fibe located in Milltown, NJ. In 1971 he worked as a Cost Accounting Manager at Devroe in Somerville, NJ and transferred to Devro, Lubbock, Texas where he became their Plant controller for 3 1/2 years. He returned to New Jersey in 1973 to start working for Pitman-Moore, Inc. Warren’s years as a Johnson & Johnson employee were many. He went on to receive his MBA from Rider University and finished his career in the greater Philadelphia area.
Warren enjoyed time with his grandchildren, family and loved to travel. He remained active swimming and walking daily.
Services were held at Twining Village Senior Living Community on Friday December 9th at 2:00.
