Theodore R. “Tedd” Niec, 89, and Jane B. Niec (Hesse), 86, were longtime residents of Stillwater and Union, NJ. They were high-school sweethearts and married for 67 years who passed away a week apart the end of May 2017. They were together in life and will always be together.
The Funeral Service for both Tedd and Jane will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 17th, at the Stillwater Presbyterian Church at 901 Main Street, Stillwater, NJ. Memorial donations in their honor may be made to Stillwater Presbyterian Church.
Tedd was a commercial artist in advertising for 40 years and Jane was a secretary and administrative assistant for 25 years. Tedd and Jane operated their own advertising agency for 12 years.
They were members of Connecticut Farms Presbyterian Church in Union for 40 years, and members of Stillwater Presbyterian Church for the past 25 years. They are survived by three sons: Richard A. Niec and wife, Laurie, of Thousand Oaks, California, Gary W. Niec and wife, Georgia, of Union, NJ, and John R. Niec of Stillwater.
They also leave behind three grandchildren: Jennifer Flores, Jason Niec, and Ryan Niec of Phoenix, Arizona; seven great-grandchildren; as well as Tedd’s sister, Phyllis Suto, his sister-in- law, Gloria Niec, and Jane’s sister-in- law, Hilde Hesse.
Following the Funeral Service there will be Graveside Service with military honors at the nearby Stillwater Cemetery.
Immediately after there will be a reception at the Stillwater Presbyterian Church. All are invited. Bring your favorite dish if you like. Additional catering will be provided by Hayek’s Market.
