Terry Alan Bucksar, youngest and beloved son of Andrew J. and Hazel E. Bucksar passed away August 2nd at the age of 69 with his family by his side.
Born in Union County on November 15th, 1949, he was raised in Springfield, NJ and attended Jonathan Dayton High School. His early years were spent in the boy scouts and playing various sports, like baseball and football. Upon graduation, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.
Terry was a true gentleman and family man. He believed in hard work, loyalty, love and sacrifice when it came to providing for his family and living his dream of owning a business.
T&C Shell Auto Care Center has been a staple in the Springfield community for 45 years with Terry proudly at the helm. A true business man and brilliant mechanic, he’s made countless friends and acquaintances throughout the years. Auto mechanics was truly his gift.
Additionally, he had many passions but fishing topped the list. Arrow Head Lakes in the Poconos, the Delaware River and Swartswood Lake were his favorites. He enjoyed camping, boating and sitting around the campfire at night listening to the great outdoors with his family.
His family was the most important thing in his life and they gave him the most pleasure. Terry was selfless and never did anything without them in mind. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years of marriage Debby (maiden name Pasquale), children Ashley, Jake and Evan and grandson George in addition to his older brothers, Richard and Drew.
His family is heartbroken. Terry will be deeply missed. He was a loyal husband, devoted father, loving grandfather, kind brother, humble son, caring friend, brilliant mentor and hardworking, small business owner. He is endlessly loved. May he rest in peace. A memorial service will take place on August 10th at 11AM at the First Presbyterian Church in Springfield.
