CLARK — In Kelly Williamson’s fifth grade class at Valley Road Elementary in Clark, the students are learning about different ways to display data that they have collected.
The students measured each other’s palm width and arm spans. The students then organized the data into a table. The students displayed the data on two-line plots.
The fifth graders are also learning about mean, median, mode, range, maximum, and minimum. The students calculated each based on the data they collected as a class. The students learned about line plots, bar graphs, circle graphs, and stem and leaf plots.
