UNION, NJ — Union will honor Rev. Dr. LL DuBreuil as “Woman of the Year” as a part of its Women’s History Month Kickoff event on March 8, at 7 p.m. at Union Town Hall, 1976 Morris Ave.
“Rev. DuBreuil is a shining example of leadership, compassion, unity and womanhood,” said Mayor Suzette Cavadas in a recent press release. “She is a champion of people’s rights and has left an undeniable impact on our community in her capacity at Faith United Church of Christ.”
The event is centered on protecting women’s rights, making DuBreuil’s honor at this event that much more appropriate, Cavadas noted.
A native of Bristol, Pa., DuBreuil is the pastor of Faith United Church of Christ in Union, and has lived and worked in Union for more than 12 years. She is a graduate of Rutgers University and New Brunswick Theological Seminary, and has also had careers in theater, business and education.
