Summit will hold Wilson Park neighborhood meeting on April 25

SUMMIT, NJ – Summit has scheduled a public meeting on a proposed Wilson Park restoration project on Monday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. in the Whitman Community Room at City Hall.

The purpose of the meeting is to share information with neighbors and other members of the community on the proposed project. There will an opportunity to review plans for improvements to the entire park, as well as to discuss concerns regarding the playing field and its potential future use.

“This is an opportunity for interested members of the community to learn about the project and share ideas for the future of Wilson Park,” explains Summit Mayor Nora Radest. “Input will be used to develop plans that best meet the needs of the neighborhood and the entire community.”

Participants will include elected officials, Summit Department of Community Services and Community Programs staff, and members of the Department of Community Programs advisory board.

Residents in the Wilson Park neighborhood were sent a letter from Radest encouraging them to attend. Representatives from of the Summit Soccer Club have been invited as well.
