ROSELLE — The Roselle Police Department is seeking the public’s help with the investigation of the theft of tires and rims from two vehicles which occurred on Sunday, March 30.
In the first incident, a 2007 Acura was found resting on cinder blocks in the Roselle Shopping Center parking lot at 11 p.m. The owner, a 30-year-old Roselle resident, was dining at a nearby restaurant and said he parked his vehicle at 9:30 p.m. The four tires and rims are valued at $2,800.
In the second incident, a 2012 Nissan Maxima was found resting on cinder blocks in the rear parking lot of 2401 Wood Ave., at 11:27 p.m. The owner, a 31-year-old Union resident, was dining at a restaurant and said he parked his vehicle at 9:30 p.m. The four tires and rims are valued at $1,500.
The two thefts, which occurred within a ½ mile of each other, appear to be related.
