Rahway Police investigation leads to arrest of local resident on drug related charges

RAHWAY — On Dec. 17 at approximately 2:30 p.m., Rahway Police Department detectives executed a search warrant on a resident living in the 1000 block of Leesville Avenue.

Police seized, marijuana, drug packaging material and seized cash. A two month-long investigation was conducted by Det. Kevin Wronski.

Police arrested Brandon Thomas, 32, of Rahway and charged him with possession of marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana within 500 feet of a public housing complex and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bail was set at $75,000 and Thomas was transported to Union County Jail pending a court date in Union County Court in Elizabeth.
