Rahway library to discuss your personal carbon footprint

RAHWAY — On Monday Oct. 28 at 6:30 p.m., Rahway Public Library will host “Your Personal Carbon Footprint,” a workshop and discussion lead by Dr. Laura Knipmeyer.

Get past the questions like “Paper or plastic?” and determine for yourself which daily living choices have the greatest impact on the environment.  Your personal carbon footprint calculator is a measuring tool.  No higher math is required. Through discussion, participants will step through examples together, while participants work on their own worksheet to take home.  Emerge with concrete ideas of what you can — and want — to improve. Find out which changes make a greater impact. If you have ever wondered what greenhouse gas emissions have to do with you, your wallet, or your neighborhood, this workshop is for you. No shame, no blame, no politics. Your heating & electric bills will be useful but not required.

For more information or to register for the workshop, contact the Rahway library at 732-340-1551, ext. 212.
