Linden Police begins food drive for local food banks

LINDEN — The Linden Police Department is having a food drive for the local food banks in Linden. The LPD is asking for the community’s help by donating non-perishable foods for the following food banks: LINCS, Linden Housing Authority, Linden Presbyterian Church Mission Project, St. Andrew’s/ABC Group Home, First Baptist Church
Sister’s & Brother’s Outreach and St. John’s the Apostle Church.

Here are some examples of non-perishable items that are needed: Juice, Water, Pasta/Pasta Sauce, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Crackers, Canned Soup, Canned Fruit, Canned Vegetables, Boxed Stuffing, Boxed Cereal, Oatmeal, Baby Food/Baby Formula, Diapers of All Sizes and Batteries of All Sizes.

Non-perishable items can be dropped off at the Linden Police Department Patrol Desk, any week day at any time of the day.
