KENILWORTH, NJ — To celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day, second-grade classes from St. Theresa School in Kenilworth did a writing assignment. They had to explain MLK Jr.’s dream and write down their own dreams for the world.

They did an experiment with teachers Michele Keating and Karen DeMaio showing that brown and white eggs look different on the outside, but, when they are cracked open, there is no difference on the inside.

They learned that all people are the same even though they look different, and that they should all be treated fairly.
