FOP to hold 15th annual fund-raiser on Saturday, Feb. 27 in Mountainside

MOUNTAINSIDE — The 15th Annual Comedy Show Fund-Raiser for Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva will be held on Saturday, Feb. 27., at the Our Lady of Lourdes Hall in Mountainside.

In addition to the great line-up of comedians, the event will open with classic and memorable songs performed by The Cameos. The Cameos are an eight-piece oldies, vocal harmony group, and they will perform their own unique renditions of the most popular songs of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.

FOP is a disease that turns normal muscles, tendons and/or ligaments to bone. Join the celebration of 15 years and learn how this local fund-raiser has aided the FOP research efforts at the University of Pennsylvania.

Reservations are required and there is no seating availability for walk-ins. The event will be held at the OLL Hall located at 300 Central Ave. in Mountainside. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 6 p.m. Attentees can bring their own food and beverage.

The cost per person is $50 and checks should be made payable to the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania and mailed to Gary W. Whyte, 289 Old Tote Road, Mountainside, NJ, 07092-1835.
