ELIZABETH — The Rotary Club of Elizabeth, celebrating its 98th year of service to the Greater Elizabeth Community, is proud to feature the 2015 installment of its unique food-tasting event, The Taste of Elizabeth on Monday, Oct. 19 from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The event will be held at the Renaissance Newark Airport Hotel, 1000 Spring St., Elizabeth. Now in its ninth year, this year’s Taste will feature 40 restaurants, bakeries, wineries and coffee houses participating.
“Over three dozen of the area’s finest restaurants and other food and beverage vendors have teamed with the Rotary Club of Elizabeth to put together this event for the community,” said Kenneth Richuso, Chairman. “Our event is a unique dining experience featuring an ethnically diverse display of sumptuous gourmet dishes from Elizabeth and the surrounding area’s most exciting restaurants.”

The Taste of Elizabeth will also feature a 50/50 raffle and a tricky tray of valuable gifts. Funds raised from the Taste of Elizabeth will enable the Club of continue to provide financial grants to local non-profit agencies and to provide college scholarships through the Club’s Albert & Louise Davis Scholarship Fund.
The Taste of Elizabeth is co-sponsored by the Greater Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce, Phillips 66 Bayway Refinery, and Trinitas Regional Medical Center.
